Magali Perquin is currently PI at the Department of Precision Health of the Luxembourg Institute of Health. First involved in (molecular) epidemiology, throughout her career she has been responsible for health surveys on chronic diseases (including diabetes and osteoporosis), but also for the implementation of population-based research studies (MemoVie, Memolingua). Her main scientific interest is now to study the processes of cognitive decline in normal and pathological aging, exploring the determinants of cognitive health. She also focuses on explaining observed outcomes using neuroimaging strategies in an exploratory approach that aims to expand the possibilities of neuroepidemiology.
